Yesterday the developers at Obsidian announced it was anyway The Outer Worlds came out about five months ago, are still working hard on improving their font size.
This is good news from the original text The Outer Worlds was very small, and while Obsidian added a great font option shortly after its release, it's not big enough. As a fan of the game on the Xbox One while sitting on the couch in my living room, my eyes still recover from the strain.
Instead of simply adding a larger text option, the game's future patch will change the settings options into a slide to select how large the text you want. The package is scheduled to come out sometime this week.
One of the Obsidian program organizers responsible for implementing the new feature has shared many GIFs on Twitter showing changes. It's totally beautiful to watch:
While the font slider is great and should have everything the game has, the future browser will add some cool enhancements, such as turning on the throwback rather than the permanent drop and something better for Water-Queens, which I've spent a lot of time trying to kill just to get the trash.
Ideally, the game map will eventually track multiple quests at once so you no longer have to look at the quest menu to see where you need to go to complete the mission. Still not as meaningful Borderlands 3A biking ambition program, but it saves a lot of time.
