It has been more than eight months since Ubisoft introduced us Assassin’s Creed Mirage and promised a return to “the origins of the saga”, but we have not heard anything about it again and we do not even have an official release date. Through your Twitter accountthe Gematsu publication quoted the Japanese account Renka_Schedule with links revealing that various stores in the country of the rising sun such as Bic Camera, Yodobayashi y Amazon.jp they listed the game informing when it comes out.
When does the game go on sale according to the leak?
According to the filtration of the mentioned stores, the release date of Assassin’s Creed Mirage It would be Thursday, October 12, 2023.
Gematsu clarifies that Japanese stores generally don’t put time dates on their products, so this date should be official.
Most likely, this date will be confirmed or denied during the special Ubisoft Forward presentation that we will see on June 12.
What is the story of Assassin’s Creed Mirage?
This game will serve as a prequel to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and its protagonist will be one of the most interesting characters of that title: Basim Ibn Ishaq. The story will take place 20 years earlier in Baghdad, Iraq, during the 9th century in the golden age of islam. We will control Basim during his first years as a member of the Order of the Hidden – predecessors of the Brotherhood of Assassins – under the tutelage of his teacher Roshan.
