The iOS and Android perennial favorite Call of Duty: Mobile is entering the next round, because the new Season 5 will start in a few days. Here is the usual overview of what you can expect.
Activision today announced that Call of Duty: Mobile will enter its fifth season on June 1, 2023 at 2:00 a.m. German time. This is called “Get Wrecked” and introduces anarchy and chaos in the mobile spin-off. Included is new content in the form of the new MS Search & Rescue mode, the Armada Strike MS map, updates to the Tournament feature, and more.
There’s also, of course, another Battle Pass with 50 tiers full of rewards; as usual, there is a free and a premium version. Battle Pass content includes Operator David Mason – Bandit and Alias - Signal Jammer, Assault Rifle FFAR 1, Protector Scorestreak, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, Charms and more.
The most important new content of Season 5 at a glance:
- New MS map – Armada Strike – Armada Strike is a map on water, first seen in Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War, where players will be put to the test whether they sink or swim.
- New MS Mode – Search & Rescue – Search & Rescue combines the best of Search & Destroy and Kill Confirmed modes to create mayhem.
- New weapon and attachments – Players can acquire the new FFAR 1, an assault rifle first seen in Call of Duty®: Black Ops III, or equip the new tactical flashlight attachment for their RUS-79U.
- Tournament mode updates – Experience improvements to the weekend tournament mode, including the option to compete in multiplayer and battle royale modes, new melee weapon camouflages, and 1x Call of Duty-Point Coupons that can now be spent on Mystic Map Crates.
