The PlayStation Showcase was the opportunity to unveil a nice trailer of Dragon Dogma 2, one of Capcom’s next big games.
The PlayStation Showcase was a great moment and Dragon’s Dogma 2 was one of the nicest surprises of the Sony event. More than 10 years after the release of the popular first part, it’s time to take a look at the gameplay of this highly anticipated Capcom RPG. What can we learn about this?
A pendant that emits fiercely
After more than 7 million copies sold, one had to assume that dragon dogma wanted to return to the front of the stage again with Episode 2. And that moment came with a first-ever (and awesome) trailer, which can be seen below. As previously announced, theAction RPG will turn under that RE engine which we have known well since 2017, since all the major productions of the Japanese publisher are running here, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard To Devil May Cry 5 pass Rise of the Monster Hunters. It’s always about the engine, because it’s THE strength of the trailer. Note that Capcom promises realistic physics management and complex and reactive AI to create an environment where decisions and their consequences matter a lot. What is dragon dogma?
In Dragon Dogma, the player controls his character, from which he can choose the main class (warrior, ranger, mage), advanced class (champion, hunter, caster) and mixed class (assassin, paladin or magic archer), gender and Character. ‘Physical Appearance. Each class provides access to different weapons, gear, and combat styles, just like any good RPG. What is special about the game is that during the fights it is accompanied by an AI with which it is possible to issue simple commands. In this second episode, the system will be reviewed and improved compared to the 2012 episode.
When will Dragon Dogma 2 be released?
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is expected for PC, PS and Xbox Series at an unknown date. However, don’t expect a release in 2023.
