In a few months the followers of the anime series Shingeki no Kyojinalso known as Attack the titans, you will finally be able to see how it ends with its final chapter, of which we were able to see a preview a few days ago in the form of a promotional poster. If there has been something that has stood out in this season, apart from its number of episodes and how they have been divided, it has been the introduction of new characters.
Two of the most special, and which have precisely turned out to be key pieces for the plot, have been Falco Grice y Gabi Braun. The two aspiring children to be Marley’s Warriors aim to inherit the power of the Titans, although something that makes both of them unique is that their designs are based on other very popular series.
Apparently Hajime Isayama, the creator of the anime and manga series, is a big fan of Game of Throneswhy for the character of Gabi was inspired by Arya Stark. In this sense, she wanted to give him the same courage and willpower, as well as great abilities to face any adversity, regardless of the danger that might entail.
However, the case of Falco is much more striking, because Isayama took as a reference Breaking Bad. And it turns out that for the design of this character was based on Jesse Pinkmanwith whom he bears a slight physical resemblance, although the main reason is due to the fact that he is involved in various sides and because he wants to be recognized by others.
What’s more, it didn’t end there, because Isayama also noticed Breaking Bad for include Saul Goodman with a very peculiar cameo.
The famous lawyer appears very briefly in the chapter 124 of the manga when the group of protagonists is attacked by a group of Titans, among which there is one that considerably resembles Saul. Furthermore, best of all, this same tribute was respected in the anime series in chapter 81as you can see below.
Going back to Gabi and Falco, in a few months we will find out what fate awaits them, along with the rest of the characters, when the final chapter of Shingeki no Kyojin.
