Archer's Difficulties
If you see a black screen or error message in Anthem instead of that large space, you can take countermeasures. When the shooter is not working properly, we will show you solutions to the most common issues on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
First of all, if you encounter any issues in Anthem, check out our bug report. If in doubt, you can rule out that the error is server-related. Corresponding to this, our Xbox One player in the Xbox Live server state and the PS4 fan in the PSN failure indicator will find out if the platform-related services are also active.
However, you cannot play Anthem even when the server is running, so you don't have to give up. Instead, because below you will find solutions to the most common problems you and other players may encounter in EA shooting games.
Connection problem
You have a connection problem with Anthem.
The server may now be offline. Developers can perform maintenance. Check our fault indicator to see if Anthem is currently off. In this case, work should usually resume after a few hours. Try to log in again and again. Also check if you are running the internet. Maybe there is something wrong with your provider. For example, if you play on PlayStation 4, you can also change PS4 NAT settings.
Long load time
You will experience long load times or simply not stop.
If the game restarts, it should work again. Sometimes you have to leave the console or shut down your PC for a long time so that the device can cool down again. After half an hour at the latest, you should be able to try restarting. However, according to EA, older models of the PS4 and Xbox One may take longer to charge than the newer models.
No coin rewards received in the game
Although you play with friends in Anthem through the affiliate system, you won't get coin rewards.
EA provides all permissions on the official website. You won't get the coin reward immediately as a reward, but you will get the reward immediately after the internal timer in the game expires. It restarts every few hours, so it may take several hours to credit tokens to your account.
Javelin stuck
Your javelin is stuck, maybe between rocks, and you can't get out.
If the javelin gets stuck somewhere due to an error or malfunction, you can use the Rebuild feature to quickly release yourself.
Unable to connect due to an error on the Xbox
If you play Anthem on Xbox One, it can cause nasty errors. You interrupted the game, but then you will not be able to connect to continue.
Producer Michael Gamble suggested on Twitter that the game be closed and restarted.
Long loading time when entering Fort Tasi
If you are playing Anthem on your PC for the first time, wanting to enter Fort Tarsis may experience very long loading times.
If the game does not disappear after five minutes, Windows Central recommends restarting the game. If that doesn't work, try repairing the game using a PC launcher.
Fragment is gone [PC]
You cannot see the fragments in the game or in the origin.
EA recommends deleting the following folders from your hard drive: "C: User [User] AppData Local Origin" and "C: User [User] AppData Roaming Origin". You may have to make hidden files and folders visible in the settings of the Explorer window at the top. Just set the appropriate check mark. When restarting Anthem, the shard should be visible again.
Game crashes when entering the smithy
The game will crash when you enter the smithy.
Windows Central first completes the Prospero free game mission. Then talk to Prospero in Tarsis before entering the smithy. Then the problem should be solved.
Unable to log in to Anthem. It is still possible to register with an EA account.
You can log in with your EA account, but you cannot log in to Anthem.
On the official website, the developers say that this issue is related to time in Windows settings. You can fix this by going to Windows Settings and setting the system clock to the correct time zone and time.
Loading screen hangs [PC]
Your loading screen is stuck and cannot continue playing.
When you
"Process" is not available
You cannot do anything because the Make feature is not available.
According to Windows Central, you must first complete Prospero's missions to unlock the "craft" and access Prospero's store.
Game character has been reset
After logging in, you suddenly start using the new pilot instead of continuing to use the previous game character.
According to EA, this issue occurs in rare cases when your Anthem restarts after a crash. According to the developer, in this case, you just need to restart the game. The next time you enter the "National Anthem" world, you should find your former advanced character again.
