As of today, all Splatoon 3 players with active Nintendo Switch Online membership will have access Sizzle season 2023. Ink your way through newly added stages, with tons of hot content including new weapons and a new Challenge mode. And a fresh season means a buffet of gear and items you can grab from the shops and seasonal catalog!
Challenge mode features timed events with special rules – or restrictions! – to add extra spice to Turf War and Anarchy Battles. You can see all kinds of mayhem unfold here, including fog covered stages, jump boosts for everyone, or even multiple Trizooks for maximum absurdity! Your performance in challenges won’t affect your rank points in the standard Anarchy Battle mode either, so don’t be afraid to paint everything on the line. Win five battles within the challenge and you’ll also earn an in-game Shell-Out Token as a little bonus.
Celebrating the start of the 2023 Sizzle season is the challenge of the new season. There will be three play windows to kick things off, so dash around and show everyone what you’re made of:
- June 2, 9 a.m.-11 p.m. PT
- June 3rd, 5-7am PT
- June 3rd, 1-3pm Pacific Time
Sizzle Season 2023 also offers even more content to dive into, including a new Barnacle & Dime battle stage, the return Splatoon 2 favorite Humpback Pump Track and the Jammin’ Salmon Junction stage at Salmon Run. There’s also the explosive S-BLAST ’92 and heavy Painbrush (that’s not a typo!) weapons to help you make a serious mess of matches. In addition, shops throughout Splatsville – and Inkopolis, u Splatoon 3 Expansion Pack* – stock up on fresh fashion and items to avoid getting roasted by your peers!
