street fighter 6
The month of June starts off very strong and with Street Fighter 6 it will be nothing more and nothing less than one of the most anticipated games of the year. It has to be said that it’s not every day that a new work comes out, as each episode is designed to last a long, very long time… and for this sixth year, Capcom has gone full throttle: New art style to die for, blooming details thanks to the RE Engin enginee (used for Resident Evil or Devil May Cry 5)even sharper gameplay with new ways to fight, a cast that promises to be badass with new faces… and of course we need to talk about single player where we can Explore open areas around the world, create your own character and progress through a skill tree. Of course, multiplayer is also expected at the turn: Street Fighter 6 is extremely promising and anyone who likes 2D fighting games will find what they are looking for here.

Built to last (which it does admirably well), The Elder Scrolls Online will soon be offering its brand new expansion called Necrom. This will be part of a new story arc, that of Shadow on Morrowind, which began with a dungeon pack released last March. Regardless, it’s this lavish DLC that promises to spearhead this unprecedented saga for Bethesda’s MMO: Players will therefore travel to the Telvanni Peninsula (where the capital, Necrom, is located) and to Apocrypha

Diablo IV
Diablo is an absolute cult saga and will soon spawn a fourth episode numbered June 6th. An appointment eagerly awaited by a huge community and we understand why: the Blizzard franchise has proven to be very influential in the video game landscape and after all there is no studio that masters hack’n slash better than it. So we’re going to find our old habits with an isometric camera, those good old character classes and those mobs that you have to take out in rows: exceptionally, the American company will offer us a real open world that we can explore at our own discretion, always with well-equipped dungeons and intentionally nasty bosses. When you have dozens and dozens – you can count hundreds – hours of gameplay to unleash in a powerful universe, Alone or in cooperation with other players, Diablo IV is simply an excellent choice. There will be a lot of discussion when it releases, believe us… especially since Blizzard should be maintaining it with a whole system of seasons for many years to come.

MotoGP 23
Like football, basketball and other sports, the bicycle also has its maroon video game. You surely know the MotoGP video games that have been around for ages and here is the 2023 version: the idea is always to represent the famous MotoGP competition, a bit like Formula 1, as well as possible (and also, by the way official) to transcribe on two wheels. This new vintage will feature a revamped career mode, more customization options, and still have as many pilots and bikes to offer it. The dynamic weather is also present, while the multiplayer, both online and split-screen, also serves to condense the content. If you like motorsport, you can let yourself be seduced.

Greyhill Incident
If Signs had been adapted into a video game, it might have been Greyhill Incident. This independent horror game is largely inspired by Night Shyamalan’s film, but also by the great classics of the genre: we play Ryan, a young American farmer whose corn fields are being attacked by aliens. Heavy atmosphere, supernatural lights, a flying saucer and other little green men (more gray in this case) that you can knock out with a baseball bat are then on the agenda of this quite attractive atmospheric experience on paper.

F1 23
F1 23 once again has every chance of establishing itself as a very good car simulation. Once again we find the entire F1 championship in impressive fidelity All drivers, teams, vehicles and tracks: Two new tracks are also on the program, namely the Losail International Circuit in Qatar (which we had already seen in 2021) and the Sin City Circuit in Las Vegas. The rest of the tracks will all be updated to best suit the new season of the championship. We will find a priori the mode that allows driving supercars, introduced in the previous game, as well as a scripted career mode and a very sharp multiplayer mode. While the formula won’t change much compared to F1 22, they still promise to have it under control.

Crash Team Rumble
After reviving the franchise with a remake trilogy, a very nice kart game and a completely new (and excellent) Crash 4, the saga is now testing other horizons with Crash Team Rumble: that of multiplayer! These are 4v4 games where the iconic characters of the series (good and bad) team up or collect wumpa fruits on the map and win the game. Still, each character has their own abilities, there are always big platforming mechanics, and a cooperative aspect adds a new grain of salt to the license. We say “why not” and sincerely hope that this new software will brighten up our evenings with friends. Sometimes you need such light and cheerful games.

Aliens: Dark Descent
The alien saga and the video game are a decades-long love story. Aliens Dark Descent will therefore be the next proposition of the franchise, set in the very naughty universe of Aliens, the second movie of the saga. And for once, the naval unit that we will control and whose task will be to eliminate as many Xenomorphs as possible will bet on a slightly different gameplay: The title is practically a real-time tactical action game with open levels to explore and even a permanent death system. It will therefore be necessary to secure areas, secure your rear, fend off the enemy and assemble a team of viable soldiers thanks to five character classes. A game that promises to be quite intelligent and challenging, and certainly refreshing given the latest aliens to enter the video game landscape.

Sonic Origins Plus
We already had Sonic Origins a while ago, but here is Sonic Origins Plus. an even more careful and generous compilation of sixteen Sonic video games (including Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic CD), including twelve from the Game Gear catalogue, all playable in High Definition or Original mode. We count too new characters, new modes, new challenges or even new intros and credits for each game. There is also a lot of bonus content to unlock like mirror mode, hidden levels, a music player, little cartoons and more. If you’re a die-hard fan of the blue hedgehog or “old fashioned” games, here’s a drink for a while.
