Getting a mobile in good condition without spending too much can be harder than it looks. Although there is no shortage of cheap mobile alternatives in Europe, in most cases it is necessary to spend at least 100 dollars to get something decent; that’s why Alcampo’s latest offering may be so attractive to many people.
The retail chain has launched a promotion in its latest brochure in which a cheap smartphone stands out: the TCL 403 at the very low price of 69.52 dollars, instantly becoming an excellent alternative for those who are simply looking for a cheap mobile.
Sure, this particular model was already cheap, but not that much; Normally it is possible to obtain it for prices around 100 dollars, although it is not uncommon to find it in promotions. It is above all a model popular in supermarket chains and Spanish stores, so it is understandable that it is now available in Alcampo.

The TCL 403 is one of those mobiles that bet more for simplicity and the safety of a product that doesn’t aspire to more than it should. These are fine words to say that this is a very cheap mobile that does not seek to surprise anyone, just to fulfill its function. Here, the buyer won’t find anything particularly striking or prominent, but “hardware” chosen to function and run Android as one would expect.
Take as an example the processor, a 4-core MediaTek Helio A22 which should be enough to run the system and the most used applications; especially since this offer model is the one with 2 GB of RAM. The 403 is also available with just 1GB of RAM, but in this case it would be much less recommended as the difference would be noticeable in overall performance.
To improve performance, this phone runs the Android Version 12GB Edition, designed for entry mobiles and only with the components necessary for normal use. It also takes less storage space, which is necessary given that this mobile comes with 32 GB of internal storage, although it can be expanded with the microSD slot it has.
The TCL 403 screen it’s 6 inches, so it is not a particularly large mobile; it is based on TFT technology, with a resolution of 480 x 960 pixels. As for the cameras, this particular model is committed to an 8MP sensor, which is good because there is also another version that remains at 5MP. The selfie camera is also better, at 5MP. Although the battery is only 3000 mAh, it may be enough considering the low power and consumption of this “hardware”.
