As of turn 10, they confirm that some game modes in the new Forza Motorsport cannot be enjoyed offline.
Always-on internet connection, as a rule, is never welcome in games, and why developers keep including it in their titles is truly a mystery worthy of a Conan Doyle novel. The most recent example of this feature being poorly received is Redfall, but Turn 10 is betting on changing that perspective in the new Forza Motorsport.
Chris Esaki, creative director of Microsoft’s excellent racing game, confirmed in Forza’s Monthly Live that some modes in the new installment will require a permanent connection to the network of networks, although not all of them. This is largely because key aspects of progression will be saved on Turn 10 servers such as the single-player campaign.

The Builders Cup or “Builders Cup” as the campaign will be called, appears to be an ever-evolving experience with new tracks and vehicles being added directly to the mode. In this category, itDrivatars will also reflect any changes made by players those they represent, a role not seen in PI to date.
The future is still in development, maybe eventually the team at Turn 10 Studios will come up with a variable to avoid the constant connection or make a change to the game mode presenting this as an option rather than a requirement. The craze for the title continues to be at its peak because it could not be otherwise.
