news culture John Wick: His Continental spin-off is finally out, and in a different style!
If you’re wondering what The Continental, the spin-off of the John Wick saga, looks like, then you’ve come to the right place!
The Continental shows itself in pictures
In less than 10 years, the John Wick saga has easily established itself as a staple of the 7th art with four feature films loved by everyone. That’s why streaming platform Peacock is actively working on creating a whole bunch of spinoffs.
Today, in fact, it is The Continental series that is unveiled through eight unpublished photos.
As you can see in the photos above, The atmosphere is very different from what we were used to from the John Wick license. This time the universe is set in the 1970s, a time when Winston Scott did everything he could to become manager of the Continental Hotel, a hangout for the world’s most dangerous criminals.
A 5-star cast and release date!
This Peacock-produced miniseries features a five-star cast. When Keanu Reeves is not in the game, we can still count on the presence of several stars from the world of Hollywood, starting with Mel Gibson (Mad Max), who plays the role of Cormac, but also of Peter Greene (Pulp Fiction), by Close Kate (Hohl), de Jessica Allain (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and of course Colin Woodell (ambulance), who has the rights to the role of Winston Scott, future ally of John Wick.
Everything is expected on Peacock, of course, but also on Amazon Prime Video in our region. At the moment we don’t have an exact release date for France, but we do know that in North America everything is expected for September. So all that remains is to be patient.
