Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is just around the corner, but Insomniac Games’ title will not only have good surprises in store for fans of the Weaver. The studio recently confirmed that several outfits of the two protagonists are reserved for purchase.
The weavers’ new adventure is taking shape
This is probably the most anticipated game of the year by PS5 players: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is fast approaching its release date, which is set for October 20th. The software from Insomniac Games was recently one of the stars Playstation Showcase
Since the last Playstation Showcase, information about this new work has multiplied. Insomniac gave us details about the history of this title and also mentioned the arrival of the legendary Venom. We also learned about two premium editions: Digital Deluxe and Collectors – which are already pre-ordered.
In particular, these two editions allow you to unlock additional outfits for Miles Morales and Peter Parker. And in that regard, Insomniac has just revealed information that may disappoint players who want to get their hands on these outfits without paying an additional fee.

The Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Edition each unlock ten additional outfits for our heroes. Five outfits for Peter Parker and five outfits for Miles Morales. There were already many outfits to unlock in the first opus as well as in the standalone gameplay, but this time you have to get used to the thought: it will be impossible to unlock the costumes of these editions if you only have the base game. Can we unlock these costumes through progression in the game? – No, they are exclusive to the Digital Deluxe Edition.
This information may mean that it will be impossible to restore them one by one in the Playstation Store. So be careful, that doesn’t mean these are the only additional outfits in the software. But in order to regain these ten costumes, it is essential to purchase the Digital Deluxe or Collector version.
