Around half a year after the original release, fresh additional content has now been announced for the horror game The Callisto Protocol. We’ll tell you what to expect here.
Horror sci-fi title The Call isto Protocol is getting a new DLC that brings you another terrifying chapter. This is the final chapter intended to complete the story of the main game.
The DLC’s official name is “Final Transmission” and features Jacob’s final episode in the main storyline; his journey will then be completed. Incidentally, the confirmation of the DLC package via Twitter hardly allows any conclusions to be drawn as to what awaits you more specifically. However, the teaser there promises to be suspenseful horror.

Those who own the game on PlayStation will be able to get the DLC a bit earlier than players on Xbox and PC platforms. The additional content will be available on the Sony console from June 27th and on the other platforms from June 29th. Following the release of this DLC, the future of the sci-fi horror game remains unclear. Commercially, the title did not quite become the hoped-for big seller, so it remains to be seen whether and in what form the makers will have more content ready.
The Callisto Protocol is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The game had already been compared to Dead Space in advance, the two games are quite comparable in terms of horror and sci-fi setting. This is not least due to the fact that Glen Schofield, a co-creator of Dead Space, is responsible for The Callisto Protocol.
