City Update II: France & and the local legend “Latécoère 631” has been released for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
A new update, free for players, controls the Microsoft Flight Simulator. City Update II: France is now available, adding the five cities of Amiens, Angers, Nantes, Nîmes and Reims.
Visiting the cities from the air is worthwhile because they offer the following sights:
- amiensLocated in northern France, Amiens Cathedral is home to the largest Gothic cathedral in France.
- Troublein the west of the region, is known for the towering Angers Cathedral and Castle with its black and white walls.
- nantesLocated near the Atlantic coast west of Angers, it invites aerial exploration with its many architectural sites along the Loire and the Castle of the Dukes of Brittany.
- Nimes in southern France has an incredible collection of Roman architecture, including the Arena de Nîmes, an amphitheater that still hosts live shows to large audiences.
- reimsLocated 80 miles northeast of Paris, it is home to some of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture, most notably Reims Cathedral.
At the same time, a local legend takes off with the Latécoère 631. The six-engine, metal, high-wing flying boat celebrates French aviation and is available for $14.99 including 16 liveries.
