One Piece is getting a live-action adapt ation from Netflix. Now there is a first trailer that reveals a lot about the plot. We took a close look at it and show you what to expect.

With “One Piece” Netflix is bringing another live-action adaptation of an anime to the screens after filming “Cowboy Bebop” in 2021. At first it was pretty quiet about the series until the streaming service not only announced a start date during the Tudum fan event, but also shared a trailer.
And this already tells us a lot of what awaits us in the upcoming live-action adaptation. The first season of “One Piece” will cover the storyline of the “East Blue Saga” and will primarily tell the early story of pirate Luffy and his straw hat gang.
With hundreds of manga and over a thousand episodes in the anime “One Piece”, Luffy meets quite a few characters and discovers numerous new places. We will also see some of them in the Netflix series.
