Register a balcony power plant with the Federal Network Agency
The registration of the balcony power plant consists of two important steps: You have to enter the system once in the market master data register of the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) and once in the register maintained by your network operator. When in doubt, the less complicated of the two registrations is the one with the Federal Network Agency, which runs completely online.

You have one month after installation to register the balcony power plant with the BNetzA. To register, simply visit the Website of the Market Master Data Register (MaStR), create a user account and enter the data for your balcony power plant. Some providers of balcony power plants either take care of the registration for you or offer assistance with the process. You can find information on this in our large balcony power plant comparison.
What are the penalties for not registering?
