If there is one aspect in which Android will always be before the competition it’s personalization. We have at our disposal a large number of applications designed to “compose” this operating system such as launchers. On a smaller scale, there are curious applications like the one that enlarges the icons or deeper improvements with Shizuku.
During our journey into the depths of the Google Play Store, we found an app that makes it easier to navigate our Android phones. It is a sidebar in which to add whatever you want, because the limit is set by your imagination. It’s like that Panelsan application that will remain on my mobile for a while.
A “must” of customization for the sake of productivity
To improve multitasking and passing improve our productivity, Panels a simple sidebar is enough to perform the function of switching between applications.
In essence, it’s something similar to what we saw with Frequaw, although on this occasion we were talking about a widget that was taking up space on the home screen. The app that concerns us today performs a similar function: switch between appsbut with much more customization.
As soon as we install it from the Android application store, we will have to give it some permissions such as app overlay (because it is a floating sidebar), then we will be free to configure it as we wish.
The main advantage over other alternatives is its depth, coming to offer various options. Because yes, not only applications live this sidebar that brings us, but we can also add all kinds of elements such as access to system settings. A clear example of this is the ability to add even the same WhatsApp camera.

Before and after setup
To put a blow to it, we can say that comes in limited seriesWell, you have to pay 1.99 dollars to unlock its full potential. It’s not an expensive price at all, especially if you get used to using it. We have tried some combinations such as an icon to go directly to our websites.
When running the application, we will enter the settings menuwhere we can adjust the experience with aspects such as the size and shape of the icons, the speed of the unfolding animation and even the distance at which we must make the gesture.

Some of the deep tweaks in the panels
Indeed, as we said, to display the sidebar of Panels we have to make a gesture by sliding our finger from the right edge of the screen to the left side. If the default icons seem few to us, we can add up to 9 lines, being able to delete the text of each access. It is best that we experiment until we find the appropriate configuration for our particular case.
The download is free, so we should not pay if the options of the standard modality are worth it. Even so, the expense isn’t over the top, giving us a few more tweaks. It is available in the Google Play Store, not posing a threat to our device.
