Thanks to the legal hearing between Microsoft and the FTC, information has come to light about a project in which IO Interactive is working with Xbox Game Studios. Although it has not yet been officially announced, the project, known as “Dragon Project“, was mentioned as an exclusive for PC and Xbox Series X / S.
Slides presented during the hearing, which were shared in a tweet, reveal that Microsoft has invested in this ambitious IO Interactive project. According to the information provided, “Project Dragon” is described as an “RPG Shooter”, but no specific release date or other information has been revealed at this time. Additionally, some tentative concept art was shown off, offering a tantalizing glimpse of what we might expect from the game.

The lack of additional game details leaves a lot to the imagination. So far, IO Interactive has confirmed they’re working on an online fantasy RPG, leading many to believe this project fits perfectly with descriptions of Microsoft’s “Project Dragon.”
