Stray, the PlayStation Plus game with the most players, has been gaining subscribers over the past few months and will soon bid farewell to the catalog in the coming weeks. It owes its success in part to its adorable feline protagonist and delicious cyberpunk vibe. At the last Game Awards, the French developers of the software received two awards on the Microsoft Theater stage, for “Best First Independent Game” and for “Best Independent Game”. It was rated 83/100 on Metacritic and has a user score of 8.4/10.

In our review, we said that Stray’s main strengths lie in its lovable protagonist and in the locations that are worth exploring. We also liked the game’s soundscape and story, which was pretty well done.
Stray’s greatest strengths lie in its enchanting protagonist and locations that are worth exploring. Add to that a well-managed narrative and mystical atmosphere draped with beautifully synthesized melodies. There’s still the puzzles, often too easy, and the frustration of not being able to jump to where we want, preventing the game from reaching its full potential.
