Blizzard Entertainment is bringing its in-house event BlizzCon back to the starting line in 2023. After the date had already been communicated, details on ticket sales are now available.
After four long years, BlizzCon 2023 is finally taking place again this year in Anaheim, California, making it a classic event. The time will come on November 3rd and 4th – and now the specific information about ticket sales has been set.
A first contingent of tickets will therefore be available from July 8, 2023; it starts that day at 7:00 p.m. German time via AXS. A second ticket contingent is available from Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 7:00 p.m. There are two different ticket levels to choose from for participation live on site:
Viewer tickets are available for $299 per person. The price includes:
- a ticket to the live event
- Extras in the game
- the official BlizzCon backpack
- Early access to the BlizzCon Store
The Portal Pass is available for $799 per person. In addition to the spectator ticket and the associated benefits, the price also includes:
- separate registration queue
- separate queue for security checks
- exclusive access to the Portal Pass Lounge: private food kiosks, private viewing lounge, gaming experiences, concierge assistance and more
- Early access to the Anaheim Convention Center (applies to the lounge only – Friday and Saturday)
The more important news for local gamers: The live stream of BlizzCon with all stage performances and all content will be offered live and free of charge this year; access does not have to be purchased for a fee, so that you will not miss any important announcement. As an additional option, there is the chargeable Virtual Pass, which will then secure you various in-game goodies for a fee.
The cult development studio promises “a unique, immersive experience” for BlizzCon that will be dedicated to the well-known game brands Warcraft, Diablo and Overwatch. The future of the various franchises will also be examined in more detail in the course of this, so that one or the other new announcement can certainly be expected.
