Last hours to grab a free game on Steam. A moving episodic narrative story whose title is free to play for a few days.
It’s not just free games from the Epic Games Store. Each week, the Fortnite developer store is giving away its gifts, with a title that caused controversy when it was released and is now restorable. And then there’s Steam, which offers free trial weekends from time to time. The concept speaks for itself, it offers the opportunity to completely test productions for a few days. It’s not systematic and there have been long weeks without it, but the platform has balanced this month by allowing players to recreate a free game that intrigued them. This is your last chance to get it back.
A free Steam game that will soon be gone
Another great weekend for PC gamers. Steam continues its initiative by allowing a production to be fully tried out for a few days, with the added bonus of a DLC that can be kept for life. Most importantly, it’s a free game that’s available for a few more hours. It’s been quietly waiting for you all month, and if you haven’t thought of adding it now, it’s time to hurry. However, note that you may already have it as it is systematically offered in June.
It’s Tell Me Why that’s still free until 1Is July 2023 at 7:00 p.m on Steam, but also in the Microsoft Store. It’s almost a ritual, now Don’t Nod and Xbox are offering their game during Pride Month to raise awareness among players, even if it means dropping a few extra bucks to do so. This storytelling game is actually one of the first AAA productions to feature a transgender protagonist. Players follow the story of two twins: Alison and Tyler Ronan, who have been separated for many years. Now reunited, they will use their supernatural connection to unearth the truth about their nebulous past, not without revealing some secrets about the small Alaskan town where they grew up. An intimate, poignant story as Don’t Nod understands it, with French dubbing.
Meet Your Maker is also free to play
We also don’t forget Meet Your Maker, still free to play on Steam. Until July 3, 2023, the latest game from the makers of Dead by Daylight, is free to try with no content restrictions. Better yet, it comes with free DLC that you can keep for life. The Sector Arsenal Pack is redeemable until 10th of July
As a reminder, the goal of the game is simple: build an impregnable labyrinthine fortress full of twists and turns to undermine the efforts of other players who have come to steal your resources. It’s even more sadistic as you sip your smoothie while watching the replay of your attackers attempting to defeat your evil creation. Conversely, you must also face the mystery and venture into the players’ strongholds to try to monopolize their treasures. That’s poorly explained, but play it and you’ll understand better.
