Attention, fans of Super Mario. Today we have received at least interesting information related to the franchise, specifically with one of its deliveries.
The news are from Super Mario Sunshine, and come from its development process. In the title code, it shows how the sun was originally going to be used.
This one was so bright turned almost the entire screen white when looking at it. In the final version, its tone was darkened and the option to wear sunglasses was also added for those players who considered it too bright.
Here you can see it:
Super Mario Sunshine contains unused code showing how the sun in the game appeared during development. It was so bright that looking into it turned nearly the entire screen white. It was darkened severely for the game’s final release, as well as giving Mario optional sunglasses. pic.twitter.com/Y1uNqPfOpd
