A new rumor suggests that a new generation of headphones with new features will be released.
Very interesting novelties are approaching in the future product range AirPods. According to information recently revealed by Mark Gurman in Bloomberg, Apple plans to launch a new version of the AirPods Pro with a charging case with a USB-C port which would accompany the launch of the iPhone 15 at the end of the year.
Therefore, both products would come to market with the replacing the classic Lightning USB port with a USB-C port. Moreover, it is rumored that Apple could also integrate a new audio feature intended to determine if a user has hearing problems. Below we tell you all the news surrounding this big change.
Apple will launch AirPods Pro with USB-C charging case
The addition of the USB-C port to the iPhone 15 is one of the most important open secrets of Apple’s next line of mobile phones. The Apple Bite Society will make this change after the European Union released a new law that proposes one standard port common to all mobile devices.
But Apple won’t just implement a USB-C port on the new iPhone 15 models. The company will also include a USB-C port on the AirPods Pro charging case.
Also, according to information shared by Mark Gurman, the new version of AirPods Pro will introduce a new audio feature of iOS 17 that will play different sound tones to detect possible hearing problems in user responses.
“The company is working on an audio test feature that will play different tones and sounds to allow AirPods to determine how well a person can hear.”
On the other hand, Mark Gurman believes that Apple also plans to include health sensors in the hardware of the AirPods Pro which would offer the possibility of knowing the body temperature through the ear canal.
Additionally, Apple previously announced that the new AirPods Pro will have an adaptive audio feature later this year that will allow users to dynamically switch between transparency mode and noise suppression mode depending on the sounds of the environment. Good health-focused news is coming in Apple’s AirPods Pro, which will accompany the big change from USB Lightning to USB-C.
