Ed Boon mysteriously suggests some of the fighters who would be on the draft team for Mortal Kombat I.
There are not a few key figures from the Mortal Kombat development team who hint at the return of some classic characters from the Mortal Kombat saga in the newest game in the saga which will arrive in just a few months. In this new IP universe, we already know that Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kitana and Mileena will be present, but who else will be part of the team?
Ed Boon was one of those posting Some comments somewhat cryptic regarding which characters from previous versions of Mortal Kombat might reappear as playable characters or as part of Kameos.
Mortal Kombat prepares its model with mystery
The first of these messages refers to rain, although deducing this requires almost detective work. You see, Boon's message reads "…the phone rings. Vicky is calling..." that many have indicated is a reference to the song Prince "Vicki Waiting" which could give way to the famous "Purple Rain" from the same author.
Corey Taylor, the Warner Bros. Community Manager, also added to the mystery with a response to Ed Boon's tweet stating that we'll be getting a new one very soon. gameplay of the game, followed by the one already seen at the Summer Game Fest. In Taylor's tweet, the creative announces that he's "gonna melt some faces" something that is a registered trademark of Reptilewho was a secret character in the first Mortal Kombat.
