This year’s Tokyo Game Show will be completely sold out face-to-face. People return to the enclosure.
As usual, one of the last real shows of the year comes in September before the final Game Awards firecracker. It's the Tokyo Game Show, which has already given us the odd joy...and occasional pain, in the form of an exclusive that will never come to Xbox. But this year, as we have seen for several consecutive years, Microsoft will again be present alongside other big and regulars such as Bandai Namco, Capcom or Konami.
According to reports from VGC, this year, the organization says that the Makuhari Messe site will be fully occupied and full, and without restrictions due to the coronavirus problem. They assessed the current situation of the exhibition by both exhibitors and future visitors and came to the conclusion that the high demand necessitates celebrating it "in a big way".
Many companies will be present
The event will take place from Thursday September 21 to Sunday September 24, with an exclusive day for the press and developers and another reserved for visitors. Additionally, there is already an official list of companies planning to attend the event, including:
- bandai namco
- Capcom
- HoyoVerse
- Tecmo cow
- Konami
- Level 5
- Xbox
- SEGA and Atlus
- Square-Enix
We only have to wait for the date indicated to arrive, but we can almost certainly wait for the companies present to announce their previous news, the Xbox itself having just released Starfield, they will undoubtedly take advantage of the trip to promote it at the maximum. By the way, if you're one of those planning to attend the Tokyo Game Show in person, tickets for non-residents of Japan will go on sale on July 26.
