The heist shooter sequel now has a concrete release date in the fall, but there wasn’t really much gameplay to see. A leak now changes this fact!
The time has come on September 21, 2023 – then Payday 3, the sequel to the well-known heist shooter, will be released, which will certainly also be one of the great shooter hopes this year. But how will the new title actually play and what does it look like in action?
This question now seems to be answered by a big leak on the net, because a whopping 18-minute video published by a Vietnamese content creator has now appeared. Since the whole video is unedited, this uncut and pure gameplay from Payday 3 is presented to you.
The player character tries his hand at a bank robbery, but it goes pretty badly in the pants in the first few minutes. This is followed by a plentiful exchange of fire with a wide range of weapons and an altercation with heavily armed police forces. The classic multiplayer mechanics that the series has been known for for a number of years are also making a return.
As the game progresses you will be able to take hostages; you can release them in exchange for players caught by the police. According to the leaker, the game will have eight heists at launch, with more to follow later. For comparison: Payday 2 currently has 18 heists on offer.
