There are less than three months left before we can finally enjoy one of the live actions most anticipated and feared by almost any anime fan: Netflix’s adaptation of One Piece. Over the past few weeks, we’ve heard new news about the series, such as the Japanese voice actors and new actors. However, the latest update could provoke the anger of the most die-hard fans.
Via the Spanish content creator New World Arthur
According to Arthur, some of these changes are the following:
- In the Netflix series, Nami and Zoro join Luffy at the same time, while in the manga we first meet the swordsman and then the thief.
- In the adaptation, Luffy meets Usopp with the Merry already on his property instead of getting it thanks to the shooter himself.
Actually, these changes make all the sense in the world, since it must be taken into account that the series will have to adapt more than 60 episodes of the manga and 53 of the anime. For this reason, it is totally normal that some changes are made that speed up the plot but that do not affect the base of the story as such, although it is true that some fans can get angry at this type of decision.
