Okay, it’s been long enough. I return to the Tears of the Realm. I little break from the game after finishing the story a few weeks ago was much needed, but now I’m craving those side quests. I don’t plan to get one Enough hooked like the first time, but a few hours here and there can’t hurt, right..?

I’m still playing Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony right now, but I have to admit, I’m also dying to restart Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I played it at launch, but it ended up distracting me and I couldn’t finish it. Still, I liked what I played and look forward to giving it another try. Danganronpa is first though.
On PS5, I’m still working my way through Final Fantasy XVI. It’s one of those rare games that I wish would never end; I’m so invested in this world that I scour every available side quest just so I can delay the inevitable end just a little longer.

I’m looking for retro this weekend. I just came across a bunch of Book4Games’ GB/GBA storage boxes after booting them up a while ago, so I’m planning on migrating my collection to them – and hopefully running them along the way. Plus, I’ll probably go back to Tears of the Kingdom for a shrine or two after I polished off the Fire Temple a few weeks ago. And I’d love to play some more Dordogne, which I started right after launch but never got back to. God, that’s a beautiful looking video game.
Have a nice weekend everyone.

Good deliveries this week, namely the collector’s edition of the brilliant UnMetal and The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie (wait, why is this game 18+?). With the Road to Elite mode completed in AEW Fight Forever all I’m left with are pointless explosive death matches between superstars. I should probably start making my own characters soon. I will also be continuing my Gauntlet: Dark Legacy campaign on the GameCube and water racing in Hydro Thunder for the Dreamcast. I have a bad case of Midway fever!
Game of the week is BATSUGUN Saturn Tribute Boosted! It remains a shame that the original arcade game continues to elude re-release, but this Saturn port is so good that there’s really no need to complain. Toaplan’s last and best game invented a whole breed of infernal bullets and remains an absolute joy to play today. It was worth waiting for the physical version from the Far East.
Well, that’s all we have planned for this weekend, what about you? Throw out the game you’re going to focus on in the poll, then head to the comments to let us know if there’s anything else on the cards.
