ID@Xbox Demo Festival returns next week with over 40 games to try out

this ID@Xbox Demo Festival Returns on July 11th, during which time you can try out over 40 game demos on Xbox.

Demos will only be available on the Xbox Dashboard for a week, but some of these demos may be republished to the demo channel at a later date. However, a lot of content will be gone this weekend, so don’t forget to try out whatever interests you.

Wandering Village is out now through Steam Early Access, and you can try the Xbox demo next week.

It’s worth noting that these demos are not typical. The demos were not created after the game was nearly complete, and may not represent the final version, as they are still in development – some in early development.

The full list of demos will be announced on July 11, so here’s what to expect.

One is Demon Academy From Necrosoft Games and Ysbryd Games. This RPG has tactical elements with a horror vibe. In the game, you will play Fay, the last demon hunter, trying to survive college life. You’ll experience unique combat, build relationships with friends, complete side quests, and fight giant bosses while trying to solve the mysteries of the island’s demons.

If you haven’t tried the demo P’s lie Coming from Neowiz, you really need to do this. Although it’s part of the demo festival, you can actually play it right now.

sea of stars is another demo you can play with. Developed by Sabotage Studio, this classic RPG features turn-based combat, heavy storytelling, and lots of exploration and interaction with the environment. Inspired by the classic, the game tells the story of two Sons of the Solstice, who will combine the powers of the sun and moon to cast eclipse magic, the only power capable of fending off the monstrous creations of the evil alchemist “Mage of Flesh”. While some areas of the demo will be part of the final game, a portion of it won’t reveal any major spoilers for the main story, and is meant to provide a sense of tone and atmosphere without giving away the main point.

Another demo you can try is Stray Fawn Studios’ homeless village. This is our personal recommendation after trying it out during Steam Next Fest. It’s a city-building sim that takes place on the back of a giant wandering creature. Here, you’ll build your own settlement and create a symbiotic relationship with giants, trying to survive in a beautiful post-apocalyptic world polluted by poisonous plants.

no world is a 2D adventure platformer developed by Noname and Coatsink. In it, you will walk between the physical and astral planes in the invisible world, embarking on a journey of self-growth and understanding. The demo showcases some of the various enemies, bosses, and abilities you can unlock, as well as some of the areas you can explore with curated sound effects.

The ID@Xbox Demo Festival starts July 11th and ends July 19th.
