Samsung’s M-series is one of the house’s firmest bets for value for money and just got a new member: the new Samsung Galaxy M34 5Gsuccessor to the Galaxy M3 5G.
Compared to the previous generation, the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G welcomes the AMOLED screen, increases its battery capacity, boosts the megapixels in exchange for the loss of a lens and promises four years of Android updates.

This mid-range will reach Android 17
Samsung has announced a new terminal to complete its mid-range, the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G. Unlike last year’s model, this time the screen is AMOLEDwith a diagonal of 6.5 inches, Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
In the processor, without changes, Samsung reassembles the Exynos 1280 of the house, which is accompanied by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage that can be supplemented by a MicroSD card with a capacity of up to 1 TB.
For photography, the front camera of the Galaxy M34 5G goes up to 13 megapixels while behind we have a triple camera with 50 megapixel main sensor. The other two lenses are an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. It is therefore a combination similar to that of the previous generation, but with more resolution in the wide angle and without an exclusive lens for portrait mode.
As for the battery, the battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G goes up to 6000mAh capacitywith support for 25W fast charging. The fingerprint reader is located on the power button.
However, one of the main attractions of this terminal is in the software. It goes on sale with One UI 5.1 based on Android 13 and will have four years of Android updates and five security updates, so it should upgrade to Android 17.
Samsung Galaxy M34 5G versions and prices
The Samsung Galaxy M34 5G is currently official in India and although it is likely to arrive later in our country, we have no information about it. It is available in the colors silver and two shades of blue and it will go on sale on Amazon on July 14, with these prices:
