EA The first cover has been officially revealed EA Sports FC 2024 The Ultimate Edition cover, it… doesn’t look right.
It would be an exaggeration to say that the FIFA series (or EA Sports FC as it is now) is known for its top-notch graphics. They’re both stunning-looking games, but they’ve always been useful, especially considering how often and when EA puts them out. It’s hard to fault all the box art for the different entries, though, as most of them are fairly innocuous. But earlier today, the EA Sports FC Twitter account shared a sneak peek at the box art for the EA Sports FC 2024 Ultimate Edition, and well, you can take a look for yourself.
Where to start? For starters, half the footballer lineup we’re presented with looks like they’ve had their faces deepfaked onto their bodies. Most of them looked like they were looking straight into the lens of an imaginary camera, but for some reason, a few were just looking sideways, as if there was another camera taking the picture. Honestly, it’s a world of Uncanny Valley, and I didn’t know it was possible.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Erling Haaland, everyone’s favorite footballer at the moment, is in the middle, in line with leaks suggesting he will be the cover star of the regular edition of the game. EA hasn’t revealed this yet, but hopefully it won’t be any less indifferent than the Ultimate Edition cover.
For now, not much has been revealed officially about the upcoming update to the classic sports game. A release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, nor have platforms, but we can pretty safely assume it’ll be released on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Still, we hope they can make some changes to the cover before release.
