Electronic Arts has unveiled the first product under the new EA SPORTS FC brand: EA SPORTS FC 24 will be released worldwide on September 29, 2023 and will feature Manchester City forward Erling Haaland on the cover.
Haaland was a guest at the global presentation in Amsterdam along with other superstars of world football such as Didier Drogba, Luis Figo, Laura Georges, Alex Scott and others. The announcements include the details of three new advanced technologies that leverage real game and match data to provide realistic gameplay, as well as the bringing together of male and female soccer players on the same pitch in Ultimate Team, a first in the soccer world.
EA SPORTS also confirmed that the Google Pixel Women’s Bundesliga will be included in EA SPORTS FC 24 and that players can look forward to an authentic representation of the best German women’s teams.
The EA SPORTS FC 24 gameplay trailer showcases the realism of HyperMotion V. HyperMotion V uses volumetric data from over 180 professional games in men’s and women’s soccer to provide revolutionary in-game motion and animation that matches reality.

EA SPORTS FC 24 will be playable worldwide beginning September 29, 2023, with Early Access to the Ultimate Edition beginning September 22, 2023. Pre-orders for EA SPORTS FC 24 are available now. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
Fans who pre-order the Ultimate Edition by August 22nd will receive various player benefits, including a non-tradeable UEFA Champions League Ultimate Team Hero item in November.

A world premiere: Men’s and women’s football are playing on the same pitch for the first time
As part of a broader commitment to women’s football, EA SPORTS FC 24 will, for the first time, bring men’s and women’s football together to play on the same pitch. Players will experience all-new Ultimate Team features, including the addition of women soccer players to Ultimate Team to create their dream XI.

At the event, Manchester City and Norway striker Erling Haaland was unveiled as the EA SPORTS FC 24 cover star. After Haaland’s historic season with Manchester City, including scoring a record number of goals in a Premier League season, he was the clear choice to usher in a new era in EA SPORTS’ long history. EA SPORTS cover stars have always defined the pinnacle of football talent – in real life and in play – and Haaland’s outstanding finishing, positioning and physique skills are no exception.
