As you probably knew, The Hyrule Compendium / Hylian Encyclopedia is back in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. However, by completely overcoming it, this time we will be rewarded in a way that perhaps you would never expect, considering the reward we had in BOTW. Between Shrines and exploring the vast and beautiful Hyrule, there are a few players who have ventured to beat the title 100%, thus beating the compendium. Do you want to know what happens when you finish it?
This encyclopedia in Zelda: TOTK will reward us better than in Zelda: BOTW with an impressive addition to fly through the skies of Hyrule
The reward for finishing the Hyrule compendium in TOTK consists of a very exclusive and select material, called the rotver screen. You may now be saying: well, now what? Let me tell you first of all that the material description treats it as a “resistant handmade fabric with a design of the Prunia tablet“.
And now comes the important thing: L ink’s glider will now have a mustard yellow fabric
You will have to go to Hatelia’s dye shop first, and, at a cost of 20 rupees (which is not much for high players), we can carry it with honor while we fly the skies of Hyrule. It is true that you may have expected something better, but the reward has been better than what we had for completing the encyclopedia in BOTW. In Tears of the Kingdom we will have a total of 509 entriesso if you want the reward you can get down to work now!
Those 509 entries are divided into 175 pictures of equipment, 126 materials, 110 monsters, 92 creatures and 6 treasures. The amount of time required to complete it far outweighs the ultimate prize, although it’s always fun taking photos around Hyrule.
In the following video they also show us how it is possible to buy missing photos in exchange for rupees:
And here you have the complete encyclopedia:
