Bungie’s Upcoming Escape Shooter marathon Apparently it has been added halo unlimited Multiplayer leads to its teams.
Andrew Witts is the former head of multiplayer for Halo: Infinite, along with other games like Fortnite and Rainbow Six: Siege. He announced last week that he has joined Bungie as director of game design for Marathon. “I’m so excited to share that I’ve had my first week at Bungie!” Weitz wrote on his personal Twitter. “I will be joining Marathon as Director of Game Design. Everyone has been so welcoming and kind. I’m excited to be working with this talented and talented team.”
Witts has been a game designer in the industry for 10 years, first as a game design intern at Ubisoft and then as a full-time designer on Rainbow Six: Siege for two years. He also spent a year as a senior game designer at Outlaw developer Boss Key Productions and as lead game designer at Epic Games.
Marathon was announced at PlayStation’s May showcase, marking Bungie’s first PS5 and PC PlayStation Studios game. It’s also the developer’s first new game since Destiny, though instead of being a new IP, it looks more like a reimagining of one of its older IPs.
The original Marathon, a first-person shooter released in 1994, was a sci-fi game set centuries in the future. While the new version of “Marathon” retains the sci-fi atmosphere, it will clearly be an extraction shooter, “players will play cybernetic mercenaries known as “runners” to explore the lost colony on the planet 4 Ceti , in search of fortune, fame, and disgrace.”
Information on Marathon is unclear at the moment, as it’s just a movie trailer after all, but we do know that there will be cross-play and cross-save between PS5 and PC.
