Following the console’s formal announcement last year, publisher QUByte Interactive and developer Cadabra Games have now revealed that Adore will be fighting its way to the Switch from August 3.
The game has been launched for early access Steam back in 2020 and since then it has collected a large number of very positive reviews. In Adore, you play as Lukha, a boy who is able to summon and control creatures to fight alongside him in battle. The action takes place on an isometric field, and you send creatures at your will to defeat wild enemies and protect Lukha.
Adore has been in development since it was released into early access three years ago, and we see this one as a good fit for the Switch (you can never have too many creature catcher/fighters, right?). For a bit more information on the game itself and a look at some screenshots, check out the following from the publisher:
Game Features:
Synergy system: Your creatures work better together. You can create synergy between them. Any synergy a creature possesses will activate an additional ability or modify your being.
Characteristics: Go on expeditions to find statues of Draknar, God of Creatures, so that your creatures gain traits that make them unique.
Special features: Each creature also has a special ability that can be used when its energy bar is full. You must decide when is the best time to use a special ability most effectively.
Runes and artifacts:Equip and upgrade special runes and artifacts that best complement the qualities of your team of creatures.
Cooking: Collect ingredients during your adventures and create unique dishes to help you and your creatures on your journey.
Adore is now available for pre-order from Change eShop for £13.49 (which includes a nice 25% discount before publication). This sale will only be available until the game’s release early next month, so if you like it and want to save some coins, you’d better get in quick.
