Street Fighter Celebrates 50 Years Of Hip-Hop With Original Soundtrack By Hip-Hop Artists And Producers
In celebration of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary this August, Street Fighter is collaborating NERDS clothing and the platinum-selling producer steel sessions to collaborate with top hip-hop artists to release an original soundtrack featuring select songs inspired by the sights, sounds and action of the Street Fighter series.
The album – Street Fighter 6 x NERDS Clothing presents Steel Sessions – will be available worldwide later this year on all major digital streaming platforms and builds on the recent release of Street Fighter 6, which is now available for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. The album’s physical release is slated for Q4 2023 and will only be available in the US.
Performers contributing to the epic release include Benny the Butcher/Black Soprano Family, Royce da 5’9″, Dave East, Papoose, Sheek Louch, Styles P, Grafh, Smoke DZA and more to be announced at a later date.

The Street Fighter franchise is currently celebrating its 35th anniversary and has long had a strong connection to hip-hop music and culture, which takes center stage in the latest Street Fighter 6, which recently surpassed two million copies sold since release.
