How to Collect Silver Leaf, Silver Ash, and Kindling in Destiny 2
Eva Levante’s quest and gear upgrade both require the use of the seasonal currencies of Silver Leaves, Silver Ash, and Kindling. Kindling and Silver Ash are used to boost Sunlit Armor stats, while Silver Leaves is used to, well, get Silver Ash.
silver leaves are earned by completing activities while wearing at least one piece of sunny armor. Rewards don’t increase if you wear more pieces, so feel free to shape the rest of your gear however you like. Completing activities usually means doing content in the Playlist, like Vanguard Ops, Crucible, or Gambit. Doing any of these will usually reward three to five Silver Leaf for completion. The best strategy for farming Silver Leaves seems to be public events. As usual, the EDZ is a great place for that. Simply load into any area with a public event, complete it, then fast travel to another location with a public event. Each grants three or four silver leaves, and it usually only takes a few minutes. A little time invested in this rotation can fill your pockets with Silver Leaves in no time.
Revenue silver ash requires you to converse silver leaf using the Bonfire Bash event. The way it works is simple; at the end of Bonfire Bash, a certain amount of Silver Leaves becomes Silver Ash. Better performance in the event converts a higher amount of Silver Ash. About 25 Silver Leaf seems to be the limit on how many you can consume, so it’s probably best to have at least that much on hand. Each leaf seems to convert into 2-4 Silver Ash.
Ignition can only be acquired by completing challenges on the Solstice event map. There are 19 challenges in total, with most granting one or two Kindlings. The challenges on the map are:

How to Complete the Destiny 2 Bonfire Bash Event
The star event of Solstice of Heroes is the Bonfire. This 3-person activity takes place in the European area of Ariel and features waves of enemies, simple objectives, and a boss fight. The goal is to stoke the bonfire as high as possible and kill the boss. The bigger the bonfire, the greater the rewards at the end and the more silver leaves will be converted into silver ashes.
There is a flail in the center of the area when you initially charge.Destroy it to start the activity. An eight-minute timer will appear, announcing the arrival of the Heat-Drinker, the Bonfire Bash boss.
There are three phases to the Bonfire Bash. Most of the time will be spent trying to fan the big flame in the center of the map. You do this by killing groups of enemies until one ignition carrier appears. When killed, they drop three orbs called Igniters with short timers. Pick them up and throw them in the bonfire to fan the flames. Tracking into igniters is very aggressive, as long as your throw is near the bonfire they will be sucked right into it. Any Igniters that are not picked up before their timer expires will disappear.
Sometimes you will be interrupted by Interference taken, preventing you from stroking the bonfire until you find and eliminate a group of Taken enemies and a Blight. As soon as they are gone, you can resume hunting Igniters.
When the timer reaches zero or 30 igniters have been consumed, the heat drinker will appear. Take them out and the activity will be over. Catch all the engrams around the bonfire and celebrate victory by tossing your fellow Guardians a reward for their time,
How to Upgrade, Power Up, and Max Sun Armor in Destiny 2
If there’s one thing Guardians should take away from Solstice this year, it’s that the Sunny Armor has the potential to be shaped into very high stat rolls in all the categories you want. These are the ultimate prize for many builders, and easy to take advantage of if you know how.
Sunshine Armor has a handy feature where its stats can be boosted in exchange for Silver Ash. Even better, you can focus on improving stats. There are two special mod slots on the armor. THE ignition socket consumes kindling, and the ember grip consumes silver ashes.
The Kindling socket elevates armor through three different levels and must be completed in order. The Ember grip tracks and focuses on gear stats. Small Kindling allows you to slightly increase stats by setting up glowing embers and consumes 1 Kindling. Large Kindling consumes 2 more and grants you access to upgrade to Shining Embers, further increasing base stats. Fully revived consumes three ignitions, allows you to spend Silver Ash for reroll with a targeted stat be particularly high and enables the glow effect on Sunlit armor.
Once you have lit a song, all future Sunlit armor of the same type will be upgraded at the same level, allowing you to spend ashes to concentrate, but not to invest in other ignitions. It also works in conjunction with Armorer mods on your Ghost. If you want armor high in resilience and discipline, for example, you can assign one to your ghost and focus on the other.
