Short message for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. In August 2023, 10 games from the catalog will be released, large productions are in preparation.
For a few days, PS Plus Extra and Premium members have been able to discover some new gems. Headliners are It Takes Two and Undertale, accompanied by larger productions like World War Z, Sniper Elite 5 or Dynasty Warriors 9. All subscribers can get their hands on a new trio of “free” games. While we wait to learn the identity of the lucky ones next week, we already know which games will be leaving the PS Plus Extra in August 2023. Suffice it to say that there will be some notable variations.
PS Plus Extra and Premium releases in August 2023
The PlayStation Plus continues its routine. Since the introduction of the new formulas last year, the calendar has gotten a bit muddled. At the beginning of each month, all subscribers can always access three productions, which they can keep as long as their subscription is active. A few weeks later, those who have subscribed to PS Plus Extra or Premium can also benefit from new entries in the catalogue. This ranges from small nuggets to large productions and exclusive PlayStation products. However, like the simultaneous service, these arrivals come with exits that are announced in advance so players can complete them before the deadline. We warn you right away, there will be some major discrepancies PS Plus Extra in August 2023. Here is the full list:
- Borderlands 3
- Nidhogg
- DCL The Game
- Yakuza Kiwami
- Yakuza Kiwami 2
- Handle
- Yakuza 0
- the crew 2
- 8-bit armies
- Max Carmageddon damage
Large games on property
So next month there will be another 10 games leaving the PS Plus Extra, with some nice names in the list. With the Handsome Collection gone, it’s Borderlands 3’s turn to say goodbye to PS Plus. The license’s third numbered episode is released from the catalogue August 15, 2023. At his side the first two remakes of Yakuza and Episode 0 of the license. In a different register, auto racing enthusiasts will also regret the departures of The Crew 2 and Grip, two titles cherished by their community.
The most curious are invited to try Nidhogg, a small independent production based on fencing that at first glance does not look like much but is particularly appreciated. The retro and real-time strategy game 8-Bit Armies also had a small hit with fans of the genre. We can therefore only advise you too much if you appreciate this type of production. So you still have a few weeks to try, finish or even go platinum for all the games from the PS Plus Extra. You will of course be compensated by new arrivals the same day, but you have to wait before you know which ones.
