NetherRealm is taking advantage of San Diego Comic-Con to announce fresh info on the upcoming brawler Mortal Kombat 1. Three more guest characters are now officially confirmed.
For those who are interested in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1, the current San Diego Comic-Con turned out to be quite important. There NetherRealm has now confirmed more information about the beating game reboot.
So there are some new guest characters that will be available in the game as part of the first DLC pack. These are Homelander from “The Boys”, Invincibles Omni-Man and Peacemaker. In addition, Erma, Quan Chi and Takeda are already known as other characters of the first additional content for the game.
Homelander will feature the same in-game look as seen in Amazon’s hit series, while DC Universe Peacemaker will be modeled after the look of John Cena’s character in the HBO Max series.
In addition, other protagonists have been confirmed with Baraka, Darrius, Khameleon, Li Mei and Tanya, who will already be represented in the main game. The list of confirmed characters as part of the SDCC reads as follows:
