If the content of this latest Pokémon leak is to be believed, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl – and the rest of the game afterwards – would have been very different.
Dr. Lava, known for sharing and distributing content from various Nintendo games, has shared an article to check for leaks that just happened yesterday. The & # 39; leak & # 39 ;, first discarded in a Pokém on-focused forum on 4chan, showed the "hundreds" of sprites that needed to be made for existing Pokémon in fourth-generation games. These categories are very different from what made it to the final structure, with a large number of Pokémon being treated to make a noticeable sex difference.
Now, some Pokémon do they have different designs depending on their gender anyway, but this leak suggests that Game Freak may have thought of giving almost all of the random monsters in a different way, rather than a current minority. Most of the time, female seedlings appear to have small organs such as ears, horns, etc., but there are other differences. Other favorites include Bulbasaur, where the female has larger spots, and Chimecho, where the male has yellow marks rather than red ones.
There is a difference even in Charizard, the only female with one horn:
Of course, it cannot be guaranteed that the leak is completely legal, but as Dr. Lava points out, the evidence that the money supports it is a real deal. Not only could such a leak take hundreds of hours, but the 2006 issue of Japanese magazine Corocoro – which was afraid of new details in the upcoming Diamond and Pearl games – reportedly notes that "Men and women Pokémon will now be seen in most, if not all, cases". Translation, provided by Bulbapedia, she goes on to say that "Most female Pokémon will be either small or will lose or lack physical features."
As expected, this wasn't in the last game, but it seemed like it was a plan at first. Maybe these projects really show what they could be?
