Analysis of the Mega Man Zero / Zx Legacy collection

analysis, Collection, Legacy, Man, Mega

Like any other commentary, my mission is trying to make a misconception of the game and this is not always easy for me. Now I see them in nothing and nothing less than Mega Man, living the fantasy of video games. And that in my imagination not everything can be measured at the same rate. Who am I to talk about sagas such as Street of Rage, Golden Ax, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Shinobi, Zelda … or Mega Man? As you can see, I didn't have the courage to say Sonic or Mario. We're talking about the foundation on which the universe is being created that today expresses lust, my desire.

When I was given the opportunity to review the Mega Man Zero / Zx Legacy Collection, I felt confident as a child and even though that sense of dread never left me, I think with these words I respect the organization that Mega Man wants.

What does it include Mega Man Zero / Zx Heritage?

This is a digital compilation that includes four Mega Man Zero saga games from GameBoy Advance, as well as Mega Man ZX and ZX Advent from Nintendo DS, in its adaptation to Nintendo's Xbox One laptops.

As always, we are faced with action games and lateral scroll platforms that incorporate everything the saga likes, such as its battles against the final bosses, the levels of the design platforms and the exact fight as accurate. It also includes some issues regarding its original types.

Technical section

Noting that it's a straightforward port for the Nintendo DS, we should note that the Graphics category is not necessarily bad, when we are forced to specialize in the artistic code that emphasizes writing and good taste wherever you look. Documents are not downloaded to be too big for playing on television or a monitor. In addition, as in other types of time zones, we will find original drawings that have been customized to match the screen size with two types of filters, one for retro style impersonation CRT monitor and the other for softening graphics. Mega Man ZX and ZX Advent also feature seven dual screen compatibility options and the option of choosing a smaller look, either in size or transparency, though unfortunately no one has yet believed.

As for the sound stage, we retain that style and good work of the Franchise, with beautiful and varied natural themes that perfectly match the rhythm of the game and make us never get bored of it, allowed for unparalleled sounds. It should be noted that, for both Mega Man ZX and Mega Man ZX Advent, they have two amazing options: Real and Renewable, thus adapting to each player's preferences. The main menu, from where we have access to games, options and extras, is packed with Castilians, as well as the Mega Man ZX and ZX Advent, but the Mega Man Zero saga comes to us entirely in English, as it does in reality, which would presume a certain rejection of low-level fluids.

Playing

Let's start with the Mega Man Zero saga. This is very similar to the latest classic Mega Man, with recently used development and many forums, well-organized levels and divisions, opportunities to gain new powers and deal with many bosses that will leave us breathless, in addition to hiding many life-giving secrets.

On the other hand, Mega Man ZX and ZX Advent have features to explore and work to fill that lead us to travel around the globe to find new machines that allow us to pass through areas where they were technically not available to our full potential, Pure Metroylvania style. Traveling around the world can be an annoying experience for those unfamiliar with the genre and it's much easier to reach the touch screen with the right analog stick, something that invites a great system of equal development and team tools that will reward our efforts.

I had already played Mega Man before, but not the ones that were delivered by a series of laptops. I'm really impressed that these two proposals have very well-delivered stories and very interesting texts that manage to keep the player's interest at all times. To put you off, I'll tell you that Mega Man Zero is 10 years behind Mega Man X, while ZX is 200 years ahead of Mega Man Zero 4, which I emphasize for those who like to follow the Sagas chronologically. They are high quality games and never slow down in their growth, something that will be enjoyed by those who have been following the emergence of a blue hero since their inception. It is thought that at this event we will also be at their partner level Red Zero

Among the new features, in this version you will find certain features designed for young professional players, such as the first difficulty mode, the overall difficulty of the game, or the assisted living system, which keeps the final points at levels to save our progress simply. In this case we will find only the last repository to be reprinted, so I suggest that, from time to time, do it manually in case you balk or want to go back to another point in history.

One update that I found to be more interesting is called the Z Chaser mode, where players will compete to try and find good times in six games. We can play it alone, compete against the "events" of the best scores (which will give us clues and examples of how to best deal with the challenges proposed by the game) or deal with another player and many local players. There are also leaderboards so that the most competitors can compare or score.

Time

I warn you that we won't get too long news, but if you want to complete them all 100 percent it can take hours, especially if you want to get gallery bonus cards and ZZ cards, which do not open when you reach certain goals and allow for beauty changes. In addition, and as happens so often throughout the saga, they are extremely addictive and repetitive in trying to win our products or the number of other players. As an extra, you'll find a multi-purpose gallery and music player where you can listen to the BSO of all the games and songs that have received the arrangements for these new versions.

Conclusion

In short, this is an important combination of platform lovers and performance, not only from other times, but also from the present. I was surprised to find myself confronted with an old-fashioned game with the reputation that only fairy tales have been handled and an excellent artistic section. Both Zero and Zx, though having different ideas for the same concept, will provide us with a very satisfying experience and many hours of quality entertainment. Maybe it's the conversion of two DS screens, the only thing that's annoying.

For me personally you were able to move me to sometimes, the age of video games where they were not protected under the finer parts of the graphics or the endless world to submit their proposal. Fun with large characters is undoubtedly a strong point of this Mega Man Zero / Zx Heritage.
