2K Games announced an agreement with the NFL today to release a host of new ball games in the coming years, with the first official launch the following year.
It's unclear what kind of new NFL games this will be. "These games will be an imitation of a football match," 2K said in its statement. That suggests they'll be missing something from the formula that was honored by the Madden series, but who knows what kind of games or twists NFK NFL games will be watching there. Management Sims? Visual novels? JRPG?
There has never been a major rival to the EA Madden series from back in 2004 when ESPN 2K5 issued at less than half the price of Madden NFL 2005. As a result of that competition, EA went on to sign a special license agreement with the NFL. In 2014, EA manager Andrew Wilson you were told Polygon "We have many years left in our contracts there." That agreement is currently set to expire by the end of 2022.
But 2K has shown signs of wanting to return to the world of football, including when it sets football game 2018 – # 39; s NBA 2k19. Whatever it isthe upcoming NFL games have turned into, hopefully, no problem with NBA 2KMicrotransaction is bad.
