Call of Duty: Warzone contains the so far largest battle royale map of the series. No wonder, since the new mode has to accommodate 150 simultaneous players. Activision has now published the entire map of the Free2Play spin-off from CoD: Modern Warfare on Twitter.
Take a look at the entire area (just click to enlarge and select "Show image in original size"):
According to the official blog entry, the map contains over 300 striking places, including environments known from the co-op missions such as the Verdansk Stadium and the locations of the ground war mode Zhokov Boneyard or Karst River Quarry. Multiplayer maps like Arklov Peak are also on the huge map.
Urban and industrial zones alternate with more rural regions. There are also massive structures such as the Gora Dam in the northwest of the map.
Fans of the Modern Warfare series are also happy about Verdansk Airport, which evokes memories of the popular Map Terminal from Modern Warfare 2.
Three to four times the size of blackout
Twitch streamer Godz compared the new Warzone map to Blackout's map. Here it becomes clear that Warzone with a three to four times such a big game world starts like the predecessor from CoD: Black Ops 4. However, the information should be enjoyed at least with caution, since it is not said that the dimensions of the comparison also work a hundred percent.
