PlayStation 4 hit Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to PC, as we reported in January, but Sony is not dropping the Xbox with its way of helping with gaming on the PC, the head of PlayStation game development said today. Or at least, if so, we're not announcing it yet.

"And to put a few minds at ease, releasing the AAA first-team title on PC does not mean that every game will now go on PC," Sony's new head of international forums, Herman Hulst, it says today in a discussion posted on the official PlayStation blog.

“In my mind, Horizon Zero Dawn it was a good thing in this case. We have no day-to-day plans (PC release), and we remain committed to 100% of virtual instruments. ”

The 2017 game is about a woman hunting for post-apocalyptic robot dinosaurs It's pretty cool, so this is great news for PC owners.

Hulst's comments indicate that, at least for now, Sony is not using its competitors' approach to the Xbox, with the release of a new console published by Microsoft as Gears 5 and tomorrow Ori and the will of Wisps out of the PC simultaneously with the Xbox.

More PS4 releases have been on their way to PC lately. That includes active dramas published by Sony Except for Two Souls and Heavy rain from an independent studio managed by Quantic Dream. Hideo Kojima-led Surprising Death it is by coming to PC in June. (Sony's new partnership with Major League baseball will result in the company releasing it MLB Exhibition games on non-PlayStation platforms.)

Go back in the middle KotakuFor the first years, we had so much fun that the game companies said "no plans”Doing something, often enough, eventually they do it. Who knows what Sony will do for the PC for so long. The fact is, right now, people can reach a ton of PlayStation 2, 3 and 4 games on their PC with PS Now streaming service, so the company does not specifically avoid giving PC players access to its games. Hulst, however, sends out a different signal than Microsoft's actual management.

The Xbox's performance seems to imply that their console is probably good to have but it's not essential to play an Xbox library. PlayStation, however, still wants us to think that when playing PlayStation we will need PlayStation.
