Real or fake?
With Hapbee, the eponymous manufacturer wants to give you more control over how you feel. Anyone wearing the gadget should be able to activate a ready-made feel with the click of a button. However, there are already some doubts about the seriousness of the Internet.
Are you happy at the push of a button? Is that really possible? The funny gadget Hapbee promises that, according to the manufacturer, you put your wearable on your neck or hoop it on your head and click the button. After a few minutes, you should feel happy, relaxed or sleepy. According to Hapbee, this is a big step towards mental health.
Hapbee is connected to the smartphone, and the app offers different "moods". With the push of a button, electromagnetic signals are sent to your body, which are said to trigger certain sensations. Among other things, videos of the company were uploaded, and the product was called "revolutionary." However, you will also see questions in the video below.
Here, the famous YouTuber Thunderf00t drew attention to the possibility of fraud. The company behind Hapbee claims to have invested $ 80 million in research and has patented the technology. However, there are no links or documents to the patent. It's also weird that such an expensive research target advertised by Indiegogo is about $ 15,000. Unlike James Bond-style wearables at the University of San Diego, Hapbee's campaign looks quite suspicious.
So far, it has not been proven whether this is an advertising campaign or a fraud, or whether the gadget is revolutionary. If you are also interested in such products, we recommend that you wait for the first review from a reputable source. However, whether that happened is another matter entirely.
