Genesect debuts at Pokemon Go at Special Research story event next week

Genesect will debut Pokemon Go in the new Special Research story event "A Drive to Investigate."

A special study requires a story ticket, but whether or not you have a story ticket, you can participate in a week-long Genesect themed event Pokemon go.

Genesect-themed weekend event kicks off 8 AM local time on March 20And run through March 23 at 10 p.m. local time.

During this period, the following features will be enabled:

• Normal, fire, water, electricity, and ice Pokémon will appear more in the wild. You may see Pokemon (such as Jigglypuff, Magnemite, Marill, Houndour, and Snorunt) appear more frequently in the wild.
• Nincada will appear in the wild and hatch from 5 kilometres of eggs. You may encounter or hatch a shiny Nincada.
• Karrablast and Shelmet will hatch more frequently in an egg area 5 kilometers away.
• One to four star assault battles will be equipped with various bugs or steel-type Pokémon.
• Rewards include 2x Catch Stardust and Hatch Stardust.

Investigation Drive-A Special Research Story Campaign

Professor Willow needs you to help him discover which Pokémon has left a trace behind him. In order to participate in a special study, you will need to purchase a ticket to gain access and face-to-face with Genesect. Pokemon will also appear in EX Airstrikes From April.

Special research stories will be held at Friday, March 20, 8 am local time until Thursday, March 26th, 10pm local time.
