Official EA statement:
Earlier today, EA decided to postpone all EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Global Series-related events until further comment due to the increased impact of the COVID-19 virus worldwide. This includes events organized by EA, as well as third parties licensed by EA, which includes face-to-face events and online events. This decision was made by prioritizing the health and safety of all competitors, employees and partners. This confirms that the EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Global Series does not contribute to the escalation of the epidemic.
We will continue to monitor the evolution of Coronavirus and receive updates from the global medical team for next steps for all events – in person and online – from EA Competitive Gaming, as well as live broadcasts. You can check out the details of all our events here.
Thank you for your understanding and please take care of your health. We will restart our events and stream live in due course.
