The coronavirus has arrived in the world of video games with the cancellation of events as large as E3 2020. In Spain the situation has worsened and Health has suspended classes at colleges and universities for weeks to contain the infections. In China, the country of origin of the virus, they have managed to avoid more infections outside Wuhan while taking measures to make this mandatory quarantine more bearable. For example, in Japan manga publisher Shueisha announced that he will make available One Piece manga totally free to all users. But Eiichiro Oda's pirates will not be the only ones in this fight.
As of March 9, there are 60 volumes of One Piece free on the Shonen Jump + app and Zebrack platform, which is made up of 594 chapters from the original manga. This has been explained by the editors of Weekly Shonen Jump, whose decision is intended "For all manga loving kids and adults who are hard to get out of these days, we hope you enjoy Luffy's adventures.". For its part, Amazon Japan has done the same with Pokémon that from now on is available for free instead of belonging only to subscribers of the Prime service. This includes a total of 299 episodes from Pokémon XY, XY&Z, Sol y Luna and the new Pokémon episodes that take the protagonists to the Galar region.
