In a blog entry, the developer of Star Citizen and his single player campaign discussed the current roadmap for Squadron 42. Accordingly, the system does not represent the progress of the game correctly, which is why the system throw over Bord wool. But that doesn't change the actual progress, just the presentation in the form of a classic roadmap:
"While our goals remain the same, we found that the format in which we tried to linearly visualize our progress was inconsistent with the approach we are taking to develop Squadron 42."

To keep the overview of the development of Star Citizen and Squadron 42 "transparent, specific and insightful" for the fans, Cloud Imperium now wants move to a new model. Here, advice is currently being given internally, which would make the most sense in order to present the various construction sites of the game in an understandable manner.
Star Citizen keeps roadmap
The Star Citizen roadmap, that is, the presentation of the plans for the MMO part of the space simulation called "Persistent Universe", remains unaffected by the changes. Here, Cloud Imperium Games continues to rely on a roadmap to inform fans about progress, plans and development goals.
