Wolcen: The studio behind the Kingdom of Mayhem has suspended development of new content to work on bugs, game stability, and improvements in quality of life.
Upcoming content Wolcen: King of Chaos Consists of new league content and new chapters; however, Wolfen Studio focuses on solving multiple issues and improving testing.
An external QA team has been hired to help improve the testing process, which will help identify issues faster before releasing a new version of the game.
The 1.0.10 patch will be released early next week. Initially planned for this week, but changes have been made and require extensive testing.
The development team is also working on the story improvements in Chapter 3, which will improve "the variety and rhythm that makes gameplay events and encounters more attractive." Players can also look forward to adding new enemies and new enemy variants in this chapter.
Ways to improve the quality of life include rebinding left-clicks, adding fate-gate search capabilities, superimposed disease numbers on monsters, and a new mission reward system.
Wolcen Studio also said that in addition to fixing bugs, it also expects improvements in balance. The goal is to improve currently less used skills, and patch 1.0.10 will start bringing some improvements in that direction.
Finally, the team is working on options that can improve coverage, server capacity and efficiency. Currently, improving server responsiveness is one of the "first tasks" for single-player and multiplayer games.
You can expect to add unique league mechanics and new content to 1.1.0, and new chapters will be planned in the future.
